Mary’s Cradle could not run without our volunteers. We have 5 ladies that are dedicated to volunteering every week by sorting clothes, doing laundry, hanging clothes, and/or serving clients. We have a lady that comes to get the clothes that need mended and she brings them back to us as good as new. We have also become creative in our requests for service: we have 1 volunteer who sometimes serves in her home laundering items for distribution, volunteers who commute once a month [almost two hours one way!] to assist in organizing our donated clothes, church groups and service groups who donate time and materials throughout the year. We are grateful for all of our volunteers hard work and dedication.
Please be encouraged to volunteer even if your time or resources are limited. (one lady comes in as she is able and she is a huge blessing!) If you are restricted by prohibitive time constraints, we can try to work something out so that we all can be blessed by your service.
Jennifer Tobia currently serves as the Executive Director of Mary's Cradle. In October 2010, she began working part time in the office and wherever she was needed. In January of 2011 she became a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. Jennifer worked part time in our office until January 2013 at which time she transitioned into the position of Executive Director for Mary's Cradle. She loves the Lord and has a servant's heart and we are thankful she is a part of this ministry.
